PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove falling rain and water drops from a windshield surface by a wiper device mounted on a vehicle by crushing falling rain drops which collide with the windshield surface immediately before collision, spreading and atomizing the same at the time of rain fall during running of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A ventilating duct 5 is constructed in a clearance gap between a bonnet 4 of a vehicle and an engine 9 room, and the front region of the duct is provided with a shutter 7 interlocking with a vehicle wiper 2. When the shutter 2 is opened, the wind pressure to the vehicle is sucked, and the sucked air is increased in pressure to jet air with pressure proportional to the counter- vehicle speed from a jet nozzle 3 provided on the front region of a windshield 1 to the whole surface of the windshield.
