PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a driver to sense the travel speed without staring at a speedometer when driving an automobile. SOLUTION: This device lets a driver know the travel speed by means of electric bulbs 2 of different colors arranged within the field of view of a driver's seat, which are turned on as travel speed increases or decreases to express the travel speed by means of the different light colors. As a simple example, only blue bulbs are turned on during travel at less than 40 km/h, but above 40 km/h, green bulbs are also turned on, above 50 km/h, yellow bulbs are also turned on. When the speed exceeds 60 km/h, red bulbs are turned on.
