PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process/production management device which can collect various pieces of management data on total man-hours, the number of nondefecture articles and a defect rate on a real time basis and can precisely and clearly manage process/production and to provide a process/production management method using the device. SOLUTION: A process/production management device 10 is provided with plural data storage rack main bodies 20 which store data on plans A having various pieces of information for working work pieces in plural storage places so that they can freely be put in/output and computers 40 processing individual identification on data and associated information containing work instruction information on the work pieces by the desired program of process/production management and managing them by the data storage rack main bodies 20. The plural computers 40 construct a network with a host computer 12 and exchange various pieces of information required for process/production management.
