摘要 |
PURPOSE: A multi-domain liquid crystal display is provided to improve a visible characteristic with a high contrast without a fine process of a common electrode or a high junction technique. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal is inserted between a couple of substrate. A plurality of gate bus line(55) and a plurality of drain bus line(56) are formed on one substrate. A plurality of pixel is formed on each intersection point of the gate bus lines and the drain bus lines. A switching element(54), a pixel electrode(72), and a control electrode(73) are formed on each pixel. The control electrode(73) is connected to one terminal(57) of the switching element(54). The pixel electrode(72) has a coupled capacity. The control electrode(73) receives a divided signal voltage from a corresponding drain bus line(56) through a corresponding switching element(54) when the control electrode(73) selects a corresponding gate bus line(55). The pixel electrode(72) receives the divided voltage through the coupled capacity.
