PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method of prevention-improvement of aging and to provide an external remedy for skin useful for prevention and improvement of aging. SOLUTION: Sugars and proteins existing in an organism are made to coexist and incubated at a temperature similar to the organism, and the difference between fluorescence intensities before and after incubation, and a specimen of sugars and proteins existing in the organism is made to coexist, and the difference between the fluorescence intensities measured under the same condition is compared with the difference measured beforehand, and an advanced glycation end product generation suppression function of the specimen is discriminated by using the suppression degree of increase of the fluorescence intensity in incubation of the specimen as an index. A component having this function is included in cosmetics. |
