PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumed energy of a system and to perform economical operation by performing cooling operation according to the load of a showcase. SOLUTION: This operation method is that cooling operation is executed by increasing the set temperature of brine in a brine circuit 20 or increasing the low set pressure of a refrigerant circuit 10 and decreasing the numbers of revolutions of circulation pumps 22 and 24 to circulate brine when a load decrease signal of a showcase 40 is transmitted from a calendar timer 54 to decide a season and a time in a case the lamp of the showcase 40 is turned off and a night cover is applied.
