PURPOSE: A plane display device is provided to obtain a high reliability relating to the grounding connection of a shield sheet even in a use environment to be subjected to mechanical impact and to maintain the low cost of members with the plane display device having a back light. CONSTITUTION: With a plane display device, the grounding connection from a shield sheet(2) to a shield case(3) is executed by a leaf spring fitting(1) of an approximately(L) shape in section. A horizontal plate portion(1a) and perpendicular plate portion(1b) of the leaf spring fitting(1) are respectively provided with shield sheet pressing spring piece(11) and shield case pressing spring piece(12) which are respectively tongue-shaped. The horizontal plate portion(1a) of the leaf spring fitting(1) is inserted between a resin frame(21) of a back light unit(20) and the shield sheet(2) on the under surface of a light transmission plate(22). The perpendicular plate portion(1b) of the leaf spring fitting(1) is inserted between the resin frames(21 and 25) of the back light unit(20) and the shield case(3).
