摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the removal efficiency of CO from a fuel gas and to reduce manufacturing costs by forming a carrier carrying a CO-oxidation catalyst of a porous sintered compact composed of a metal. SOLUTION: A CO-selective oxidation part 4 comprises a catalytic reactor 11 having catalyst particles 8 for the CO-oxidation within a cylindrical body 7 of carrier composed of a metal. The cylindrical body 7 is a porous sintered compact having a plurality of holes 7b inside thereof, which three-dimensionally continue, the porosity is preferably set 40-90%. Additionally, the average diameter of the holes 7b is preferably set 0.5-5 mm. As a constitution material of the cylindrical body 7, stainless steel particularly containing Al is preferable for the excellent corrosion resistance against a fuel gas. This constitution enlarges the surface area of the cylindrical body 7 and enhances the contact efficiency of the fuel gas to the catalyst particle 8. Therefore, the CO removal efficiency of the catalytic reactor 11 is so high that the catalytic reactor 11 can be downsized.
