PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monitoring system capable of detecting faults at a switching part, without short break and capable of detecting a parity error at switching, without instantaneous break of an active system and reserved system by inputting the output signal of the switching part, without instantaneous break and a parity control signal from a switch control part to a parity error detecting part. SOLUTION: A parity error detecting part 5 inputs active system/reserve system signals DATA3, DATA4 from active system/reserve system frame synchronizing parts 1, 2, a switched frame synchronizing signal F3 and a switched signal DATA5, both of which are from a switching part without short break 3, and a parity control signal CRT3 from a switch control part 4, and outputs a switched parity error signal E1. The part 3 executes switching without short break, by causing the phases of the active system/received system to match, in accordance with a switch control signal CRT2 from the part 4. Then, the signal DATA5 after switching of a system is outputted to the part 5 with the signal F3. |
