A photoelectric switch which has three light emission elements 1a, 1b, and 1c, a projection lens 3, and two dichroic mirrors 5a and 5b disposed in a holder 9 in a housing 8, and a detection light reception element 2a disposed below the holder 9. The light emission elements 1a, 1b, and 1c and the projection lens 3 are placed so that an optical axis Lc of the light emission element 1c matches an optical axis LX of the projection lens 3, that an optical axis Lb of the light emission element 1b crosses the optical axis LX of the projection lens 3 at right angles, and that an optical axis La of the light emission element 1a crosses the optical axis LX of the projection lens 3 at an acute angle. An optical fiber 6a guides light gathered through the projection lens 3 into a detection position and an optical fiber 6b guides light at the detection position into the detection light reception element 2a. <IMAGE> |
