PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body for housing container which is excellent in durability while being easy for handling at production. SOLUTION: A lid body 3 has a cover cloth 41 which covers an edge of a cover part 32, extending from the surface side to the reverse side of the lid body 3, and a protective belt 42 arranged over the cover cloth 41 at the surface side of the lid body 3. The cover cloth 41 is formed of nylon fibers or the like, and covers the edge of the lid body 3, extending all over the periphery of the lid body 3 so as to keep the end of the edge of the lid body 3 from being exposed. The protective belt 42 is a belt-like member made of a synthetic resin such as PVC or polyethylene or a rubber material such as butadiene rubber or natural rubber, and fixed to the upside of the cover cloth 41, extending to the cover part 32 of the lid body 3, by sewing with a sewing thread. |
