PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured folding box, which has a few component parts, can be easily folded, unfolded/expanded for setting up, and which is quite sturdy in an assembled condition. SOLUTION: This folding box is provided for a double bottom structure with a long side box piece 1 and a short side box piece 2 which, by being overlaid crossing at an angle of 90 deg., make the main body part of the box, edge frames 3, 4 forming a frame being fitted to the top edges of both box pieces 1, 2, and four corner members 5 connecting the top edge frames being fitted to the corner parts where each edge frame 3, 4 is butted. In a condition where the side face panel top edges of both box pieces 1, 2 are assembled in an integrated box frame shape by the edge frames 3, 4 and the corner members 5, a long side face panel is folded using a each folding line as a hinge, and as to a short side one, the right and left folding pieces of the bottom face panel are folded using each folding line as a hinge. By this, the folding pieces and the side face panels connected to them are folded in a Z shape on the bottom face of the bottom face panel in a flat box frame shape. By extending the right and left folding pieces of the short side bottom face panel, they can be overlaid on the long side bottom face panel, and each side face panel can be erected in a box shape simultaneously.
