PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a disk molded article without damaging the quality thereof in a disk molding machine. SOLUTION: A molten resin is injected in the mold cavity formed by a movable mold 14 and a fixed mold 12 to mold a disk molded article. When the disk molded article is taken out of the molds, the position of the movable mold is detected by an encoder 18 to obtain a detection position. A control device 19 starts the clocking of a preset delay time when the position of the movable mold shown at the detection position reaches a preset mold position and starts air blow when the delay time has elapsed. The preset mold position is set, for example, to the max. mold opening position.
