PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data erasing method of optical disk in which data are simply erased without requiring a special device and recycling of material is suitably conducted. SOLUTION: During a data erasing, a pickup PUa is moved from a disk inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side at a constant velocity by a PU feed mechanism 20 without conducting a tracking control. Since a CD-R 12 is rotated at a constant linear velocity, the locus of the pickup PUa on the CD-R 12 become a vortex shape. Therefore, double writing signals are recorded by laser light beams in the vicinity of the cross points of a track Ta, in which data are recorded, and the locus of the pickup PUa. Thus, original data are destroyed and the data reading is made impossible. Since data recoridng function is used, no special erasing device is required. |
