PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the close adhesiveness of a carbon protective layer to a lubricant and to improve the running performance and durability by holding a lubricant which contains a compound of perfluoropolyether and an amine and a branched carboxylic acid monoestre in the outermost layer of a protective film which is formed on a magnetic layer and top-coated with an aromatic amine. SOLUTION: The lubricant is used, which contains a compound of a bifunctional perfluoropolyether having terminal carboxyl group and an amine represented by formula I and a branched carboxylic acid monoestr represented by formula II. In these formulae, Rf denotes a perfluoropolyether chain, R1-R4 each denotes hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group; RI, RII and RIII each denotes an alkyl group. The mixed ratio by weight of the compound represented by the formula I to the compound represented by the formula II is preferably from 10:90 to 90:10. An aromatic amine on the surface of a carbon protective film is o-phenylenediamine or the like which enhances the close adhesiveness of the lubricant to the protective film. The 0.05-100 mg/m2 aromatic amine is preferably applied on the surface of the film. |
