<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dialup router where transmission to a wide area network WAN can be restricted when a user of a terminal leaves its seat and to provide a transmission control method. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of data to be sent from a local area network 4 to a WAN 5, a personal computer PC state reception section 111 of the dialup router 10 detects operation information denoting an operation conducted by an operation section of a terminal connected to the LAN, discriminates the fact of the operation on the basis of the operation information for a period X before or after the time when the data to be sent to the WAN are sent to the WAN and transmits the data received for the period X to the WAN according to the discrimination.</p> |
