In the present invention there is disclosed a process for preparing azacyclohexapeptides of the general formula I, in which individual symbols have specific meaning. Those substances can be employed particularly for treating fungal infections. In the present invention there are also claimed novel intermediates for carrying out the process according to the present invention, whereby the novel process is a stereoselective one and when employed high yields can be achieved.
