Sensor for the selective determination of ammonia in NOx containing, oxygen rich gases

A sensor for the selective detection of NH3 in an O2 rich gas containing NOx uses a structural member (20) as a condenser and a gas permeable, sensitive layer (30) as a dielectric. The sensitive layer is a hydrophobic, Zeolite, free of precious metals and with low acidity. Its ordered crystalline structure has primary pores of diameter the same order as the gas kinetic diameter of NH3.
