PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately lubricate a balancer shaft gear without using a complicated lubricating mechanism. SOLUTION: A housing 12 consists of a housing upper 13 and a housing lower 14 and a pair of shaft housing chambers 21 are formed independently each other inside of the housing 12. A balancer shaft 15 having a weight member 29 with a semicircular section is housed in each shaft housing chamber 21. A pair of the balancer shafts 15 are rotated in contrary directions each other by a gear 20 meshing therewith. A recess part 45 is formed between a rib 42 located above a gear housing 25 and a rib 41 at the front end and a communication hole 46 to communicate between the bottom of the recess part 45 and inside of the gear housing 25 is pierced. Lubricating oil drops in a crank case are gathered in the recess part 45 and are supplied to the gear 20 through the communication hole 46. |
