PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in an inexpensive constitution without requiring changing or adding a connection line at a power source circuit or the like, enlarging a carriage in size, changing a set position of the power source circuit, and the like. SOLUTION: The recording apparatus controls to supply and shut a driving voltage output from a predetermined power source device 10 to a recording head 6 according to a driving control signal. The apparatus has monitor means 17, 19 and 20 for monitoring the driving voltage supplied to the recording head 6, and a driving control means 11 for generating the driving control signal. The driving control means 11 changes a supply time of the driving voltage in accordance with a value of the driving voltage monitored by the monitor means 17, 19 and 20. |
