PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject mixture which can dye in the tones of orange color to red color and has improved characteristics, especially the unevenness in dyeing by mixing a plurality of dyes. SOLUTION: This dye mixture comprises (A) one or more dyes of formula I [D is a group of formula II (Y is vinyl or ethyl; R3, R4 are each H, ethyl, methyl or the like; p4 is 0 or 1) or the like; Z1 is chlorine or fluorine; M is H or an alkali metal; X is hydroxy, morpholino or the like] and (B) one or more dyes of formulas III [D2 is the same as D1; R1 is hydroxy, phenoxy or the like; Z2 is chlorine or fluorine; (p) is 0 or 1] and so on. The dye mixture preferably comprises the component A and the component B in amounts of 95 to 25 wt.% and 5 to 75 wt.%, respectively, based on the total amount of the components A and B. When not only vinyl sulfonyl groups but alsoβ- sulfatoethylsulfonyl groups are contained in the mixture of the components A and B, the molar ratio of the vinyl sulfonyl fractions and theβ- sulfatoethylsulfonyl fractions is preferably 5:95 to 30:7.
