PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously check a flow of paper sheets at a plurality of positions by a plurality of detecting elements by constituting them so as to be adjustable by a common adjusting means conforming to the thickness of the paper sheets to be worked. SOLUTION: Plural rollers 24 as detecting elements rotatably supported are seated on a lever 27 rotatably supported by a holding device 26, and the holding device 26 is arranged movable in the axial direction of a traverse 28, and fixed to a desirable position by a lock screw 29. The traverse 28 turnably supported by a side frame is provided with a lever 37, and a stopper 42 is supported by a holder 39 so as to abut on the lever 37, and the lever 37 is pushed to the stopper 42 by a compression spring 44 supported by the side frame. The holder 39 can be turned by turning the adjustment screw 46 around a bearing journal 38, resisting the spring force of the compression spring 44. In the case where thickness of the paper sheets is changed, spaces between the plural detecting rollers 24 and the opposite rollers 22 are adjusted at the same time. |
