摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch for a general purpose engine, and clutch case structure permitting accurate alignment between an output shaft of the general purpose engine and the driven side of the clutch with simple structure, with the clutch serving as a coupling. SOLUTION: A connection part between a rear case half body 34 and a crankcase end cover 11a is formed in socket and spigot joint structure by providing the rear case half body 34 with a rear annular protruding part and providing the crankcase end cover 11a with an oil seal fitting hole 37 corresponding to the rear annular protruding part 38, and a connection part between a front case half body 36 and the rear case half body 34 is formed in socket and spigot joint structure by providing the front case half body 36 with an annular groove part 42 and providing the rear case half body 34 with a front annular protruding part 41 corresponding to the annular groove part 42. The driving side of a clutch fitted to an output shaft of a general purpose engine and the driven side of the clutch fitted to one clutch half body can therefore be accurately aligned with each other with simple socket and spigot joint structure, and there is no need to provide a special coupling since the clutch serves as a coupling.
