STARTING DEVICE OF SINGLE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR

PURPOSE: A starting device of a single-phase induction motor is provided to improve an efficiency by connecting a positive thermal coefficient element directly to a switch. CONSTITUTION: A starting device of a single-phase induction motor comprises an auxiliar winding which is connected in parallel with a main winding. A starting switch is connected to the auxiliar winding, and consists of a positive thermal coefficient element(1) and a relay(Ry). The relay(Ry) is connected in series to the positive thermal coefficient element(1), and is operated by the amount of current flowing through the main winding.
