PURPOSE: A method for processing a light emitting diode(LED) control event of a basic rate interface(BRI) in a private exchange, is provided to allow a timer interrupt service routine(ISR) to directly call an LED control part of the LED equipped inside the BRI so as to control the LED, thereby preventing the loss of the LED event and reducing loads of an event queue. CONSTITUTION: In an interrupt service routine(ISR), jumping to a routine which processes an event is performed after a timer value is reached, if a message type is for light emitting diode(LED) control. In an LED event processing routine, a flag is checked and toggled. An event identifier(ID) and the timer value are attached to the timer as parameters. If timer interrupt is generated, attached LED event is processed after the timer value is reached.
