An assembly heats a fluid especially gas as it escapes through a valve. The valve seat is especially a PTC-element which acts as a conductor of electricity and heat with a positive temperature coefficient. The PTC ceramic-element has a profiled section (10) which enables clamping of the shoulder (3) of the valve seat (2).
