The swivel ball joint (1) consists of internal (4) and external ring (2) provided respectively with external (5) and internal surface (3), both being spherical. The external ring carries on its radial external surface (9) and at point of swaging (2a), a clamping ring (13). The process consists of installing (F3) the clamping ring (13) onto the external ring after its swaging operation. An Independent claim is also included for the manufacturing process of the swivel ball joint.
