PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent illusion and accident by inverting the vertical moving direction of a wire, inverted through an upper fixed pulley, again through a lower fixed pulley so that the movement of a float and a mark is not reversed vertically thereby matching the liquid level constantly with the height of the mark. SOLUTION: An existing fuel tank 2 for gas oil burner has only one fixed pulley 8 at an upper part because of simplification in the structure of a float gauge and a pipe 4 for supplying liquid fuel to a combustor through a cock 4a is coupled to the side face at the bottom. A lower fixed pulley 15 is provided additionally in correspondence with the fixed pulley 8, the float 6 and a mark 11 and a wire 7 is replaced and entrained not in reverse V-shape but in reverse N-shape. It is simply required to throw in the fixed pulley 8 and a weight 18 from an opening (with a cover 3) of the fuel tank 2 and the weight 18 may be a stone or a concrete block so long as it is heavy enough to settle the lower fixed pulley 15 on the bottom of the fuel tank 2 while resisting against buoyancy of the float 6. When the liquid level in the fuel tank 2 fluctuates vertically, the mark 11 moves up and down in the same direction through the simple additional apparatus.
