PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and economical actuator which is flexible as a whole and can get large displacement even if the voltage is low and can largely scan the direction, etc., of the stream of electromagnetic waves (especially, visible light) or the fluid. SOLUTION: This actuator is equipped with a piezoelectric element 21 where voltage crystalline films 16 are made on both sides of a flexible board 15 and electrode layers 20 are made on these voltage crystalline films 16, and the piezoelectric constant of the above piezoelectric element 21 is set to 0.1-20 pC/N, and the flexural rigidity is set to 1.0×102-1.0×103N.mm. Hereby, this is flexible as a whole, and even if low charge is applied, this produces large displacement, and this exhibits an excellent sensitiveness and responsiveness. Then, this can be set in such a form that it is very thin and is not bulky, and also this is of a simple constitution, so this has such merit that this is inexpensive and economical. |
