PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair tool and a repair method by which an insulating resin pipe with a broken flange can be repaired at a low cost. SOLUTION: A heat source connection part 14 of a repair tool 10, which has an annular groove 12 to which the inner diameter part of an insulating resin pipe 1 from which a flange 4 is removed, is fitted, has a width larger than twice the thickness of the insulating resin pipe 1, and is coated with fluororesin 16, is inserted into a solder iron base unit 11 which is a heat source to elevate the temperature of a molding part 13. The end part of the insulating resin pipe 1 is pushed into the annular groove 12, softened and bent toward the outer circumferential side of the insulating resin pipe 1 to form a new flange 4a. |
