<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly reliable load driving system and its failure detecting method. SOLUTION: In this load driving system constituted of an ECU(electronic control unit) 10 and a load unit 20, an inverting circuit 210 is provided at the input side of an emitter-grounded switching element 212 for driving a load 214, and a pull-down resistance 213 is connected between the output side and ground side of the element, and a feedback resistance 211 is connected between the output side of the element and the input side of the inverting circuit 210. The ECU 10 controls the operation of the load unit 20 through a wire harness 112, and discriminates any failure generated in a load driving system based on a voltage detected at an input terminal T2.</p> |
