<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clear full-color image with satisfactory color reproducibility and color developing property. SOLUTION: A pigment (A), a water-soluble inorganic salt (B) and a water-soluble solvent (C) are kneaded to comminute the pigment A, and the water-soluble inorganic salt B and the water-soluble solvent C are removed by washing to prepare an aqueous paste (D). A chelating agent (E) is added to the aqueous paste D, mixed, stirred, washed and filtered to obtain an aqueous paste (F). This aqueous paste F and a resin (G) that is solid at ordinary temperature are heated, kneaded and freed of the water. The resulting resin coated pigment (H) and a bonding resin (I) are heated and kneaded to obtain the objective negative charge type toner matrix particles for developing an electrostatic charge image. The objective toner and developer are obtained using the toner matrix particles.</p> |
