PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an alarm signal recovery time by providing a display color change permission switch for selecting whether the display color change operation of a display color change switch is made to be effective in whole display units in common or not. SOLUTION: In the display means 2 inside an alarm display device 1. a plurality of display units 3-1 to 3-4 respectively having a display part 3a are constituted. Then the display means 2 is provided with the display color change switches 3b at every display unit, which have a function for changing-over the display color of the display units into one of the two optional colors, and with the display color change permission switch 5 which is shared by the whole display units, which has a function for permitting the operations of the switches 3b. Thus, when an abnormality occurs in a plant, display is executed by the previously set display color so that a monitoring person judges the propriety of correspondence and also the alarm signal recovery time is shortened.
