Method for executing a calendar induced program has the following steps: allocation of an execution control logic, dependent on one or more induction values, to a program that is scheduled to be run at certain date time intervals. A computer calendar user sets the induction values when automatic execution of a program is initially set up. The execution logic is configured so that it uses induction values that are dependent on events in the user calendar. Independent claims are made for computer software and a computer system for ensuring that software programs run automatically according to values entered in calendar software.
