PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the mixing of any incoming merging noise into a CATV transmission path network by realizing bi-directional transmission in the same outgoing band at the time of CATV transmission in a multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: This transmission system in a multiple dwelling house is provided with an up-converter 208 for frequency-converting a low band incoming signal from a home terminal into a high band outgoing signal, an outgoing band bi-directional amplifier 211 for operating bi-directional amplification by using only the outgoing band in the apartment house, and a down-converter 210 for inversely converting a high band incoming signal transmitted in the outgoing band in the apartment house into the original low band incoming signal. Also, an outgoing band bi-directional amplifier 211 is provided with an SAW filter 6 for allowing only the high band incoming signal to pass through one of the outputs of a co-phase transformer 4, a delay line 9 for delaying an outgoing RF signal at the other output, and an anti-phase transformer 8 for adding the output of the SAW filter 6 and the output of the delay line 9 with anti-phases in the outgoing direction, and this low band bi-directional amplifier 211 is provided with an SAW filter 14 for allowing only the high band incoming signal to pass in the incoming direction in parallel with them.
