PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having high brightness and high light emitting efficiency and enabling stable discharge and to provide a display device using the same. SOLUTION: In a plasma display panel having a pair of substrate 10 and 20 sandwiching the discharge space, a pair of display electrode 41 and 42 disposed on the inner surface of the substrate 10 in parallel each other, address electrodes 31 disposed on the inner surface of the substrate 20 crossing the pair of display electrodes 41 and 42, barrier plates 21 for comparting the discharge space into respective unit light emitting areas and phosphors 22 emitting light by discharge, the discharge interval between the pair of display electrodes 41 and 42 is 0.2 mm or more and a plurality of the address electrodes 31 are formed in the unit light emitting area. A projecting part lower than the barrier plate 21 between the address electrodes 31 is formed as required.
