摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive an SR motor through the use of position detection sensors whose number is smaller than the number of phases by sequentially outputting plural control signals, based on a detection result detected from a position detection part after the SR motor is started. SOLUTION: In this device, the position of a rotator is matched in a position detection part 70 at starting and the initialization of an SR motor. A microprocessor 80 outputs rotation control signals C1, C2 and C3 of the SR motor rotator, based on a detection result from the position detection part 70. The patterns of the control signals C1, C2 and C3, which correspond to the rotation speed of the rotator, are set previously in the microprocessor 80. When a prescribed voltage from the position detection part 70 is applied, the control signals C1, C2 and C3 of the prescribed patterns are outputted sequentially from the position detection part 70. A matching operation is repeated plural times in a time shorter than the necessary time, and precise matching is executed in spite of the position of the rotor. Thus, the position detection sensors whose number is smaller than the number of phases in the SR motor is used, and the motor can be driven precisely.
