[Class 40 (v)] A dipole aerial A1, A2 feeds the input coil L3 of a receiver, through a transmission line T and balanced tuned circuits L1 C1, L2 C2 in which interference currents picked up by the line T are balanced out, and the differential condenser DC and potential divider DR with their movable members earthed are connected thereacross to produce a final balancing. The junction X between the coils L1 L2 may be connected directly or through an impedance to the earthed junction Y of the tuning condensers C1 C2. |
