PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a display area and to stable a holding status to increase reproducibility by designing a body fat measuring device in such a manner that it measures body fat using biological impedance, and electricity application electrodes and voltage measuring electrodes are arranged at the top and bottom faces of a main body. SOLUTION: This body fat measuring device measures body fat through hands and fingers, and as viewing from the front of an almost rectangular parallelepiped main body 1, at the right and left ends of a top face 3 and the right and left ends of a bottom face 5, electricity application electrodes 7a, 7b and voltage measuring electrodes 9a, 9b are arranged respectively so that they are opposite to each other in the vertical direction. A display 15, a power switch 11, input keys 13 are arranged at the front of the main body 1. To measure body fat, a person holds the main body 1 in such a way that his/her right and left index fingers are pushed against the electricity application electrodes 7a, 7b of the top face 3 of the main body 1, and his/her right and left thumb fingers are pushed against the voltage measuring electrodes 9a, 9b at the bottom face 5, and electricity is applied to the main body 1. |
