PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a simple arrangement to prevent the end of a moving door from hanging down during the opening or closing movement of the moving door in the direction of rotation. SOLUTION: This door device comprises a moving door 6 which can open and close an opening in its reciprocating direction as it is hung on a hanger 16 that is free to reciprocate along a top rail at the opening, and which is connected to one end of the hanger 16 via an upper shaft 17 so that it can open and close the opening in the direction of rotation about both a lower shaft guided along the lower edge of the opening and the upper shaft 17; a fixed door which can open and close the opening in the direction of rotation about upper and lower shanks at the one end; a locking pin 54 provided at the upper shaft 17; a locking mechanism 22 provided on a jamb 10 and freely rotatably engaging the locking pin 54 when the moving door 6 moves to a normal full-open position in the reciprocating direction, so as to regulate the movement of the locking pin 54 to the closed side in the reciprocating direction; and a stopper provided at the lower edge of the opening to regulate movement of the lower shaft to the open side in the reciprocating direction when the moving door 6 moves to the normal full-open position.
