PRODUCTION OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optically resolves an optical isomer of a low optical purity into the isomer of an increased optical purity. SOLUTION: A liquid phase of an optically active compound and a diluent is used as an identifier to subject an opticall active isomer that includes the one optical isomer that does not strongly interact with an optically active compound in 20% e.e. enantiomer excess to the optical resolution through the solid- liquid equilibrium contact, the liquid-liquid equilibrium contact, the vapor-liquid equilibrium contact or a membrane. The enantiomer excess means one of the methods for expressing the optical purity that the excessive content of one enantiomer is given in % e.e. in a mixture of only one couple of the enatiomers.
