PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding fan which is more excellent in design than conventional ones by sticking decollating pieces such as pressed flowers to the surface of the fan. SOLUTION: A matter obtained by sticking Japanese papers 2a and 2b to bath sides of a core paper 1 is used for the surface A of a fan. The surface A is moisturized to form a folding line to put ribs 9 through between core papers. Then, decorating pieces 3 such as pressed flowers are dotted between the paper 1 and the paper 2a of at least one face. A hydrophilic resin layer 4 is provided on the paper 1, the piece 3 is fixed on it in the state of covering both of its front and rear surfaces with waterproof resin layers 5, 6 and the see-through paper 2a is stuck on it to obtain a product of stability and good quality.
