PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling protective device with improved safety provided between end walls of rail vehicles connected to each other. SOLUTION: A lever connected to one side and a lever connected to the other side are provided on an installation seat which is an area for preventing falling down predetermined at least on lateral one-side part of rail vehicles 22a and 22b provided on opposed end walls 23a and 23b of the rail vehicles 22a and 22b connected to each other so that these levers are displaced to each other in vertical direction and the tip part of one lever is projected from the tip part of the other lever to base end part side. Each of these levers is provided in the state that at least a displacement to lateral inner side and lower side of the rail vehicles 22a and 22b can be stopped. Thus, in the state where the rail vehicles 22a and 22b are stopped at a station, it can be prevented that a clearance between the end walls 23a and 23b forms an opening facing a platform space and extending in vertical direction so as to further increase safety.
