HORIZONTAL GALVANIZATION APPARATUS FOR SUPER-THIN STEEL SHEET AND GALVANIZATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A horizontal galvanization apparatus is provided to continuously galvanize 3mm thickness or less of super-thin steel sheet without deformation such as slacking off or distortion of strip. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal galvanization apparatus protects steel strip from slacking off or distorting within plating bath. Also, a galvanization method contains conventionally known procedures such as introducing cold rolled coil as raw material into production line by means of a coil car and an un-coiler, welding rear end of a coil in advance with front end of following coil to connect together by using a seam welder, and pre-treatments such as acid pickling or washing steps. The method is featured by passing negative-charged steel plate strip between both plating baths having upper and lower anodes to carry out electric galvanization process.
