PURPOSE: An FRP cover for flange pipe is provided to prevent the leakage which occurs when the cover is deformed by the pressure working in flange pipe. CONSTITUTION: In the FRP cover for flange pipe, the cover closes the end of flange pipe(4) by being screwed in flange part(6) of pipe. A curved part(8) of dome-shape is projected in the middle of cover toward inside or outside of flange pipe to prevent the deformation by pressure applied on the cover. The outside diameter of curved part is the same as the inside diameter of flange pipe, so that the curved part is inserted into the inside of flange exactly. The FRP cover is made by the steps of; covering reinforcement mat and resins repeatedly on upside of die; hardening; and forming numerous bolt holes around the girth of cover to be screwed in flange part. In the central part of die, the prominent part which is formed in the same shape as the curved part.
