PURPOSE: A reflective LCD(liquid crystal display) is provided to have a high contrast ratio and to improve color characteristics as well as to increase productivity. CONSTITUTION: A reflective LCD includes first/second substrates(30,38), a TN(Twisted Nematic) liquid crystal(34), a phase difference panel(40), a linear polarizer(42) and a reflecting electrode(32). The first/second substrates(30,38) are arranged at a specific interval by facing each other. The TN liquid crystal(34) is mounted between the first and second substrates to change the phase of transmitted light depending on voltage feed. The phase difference panel(40) converts the linear polarized light into round polarized light and the reflecting electrode(32) reflects the light. The TN liquid crystal(34) has a twist angle of about 65-75 degrees preferably.
