PURPOSE: A softening-drying method of textile and a device thereof are provided which are characterized by automating a process, preventing loss of the textile, reducing production cost and manpower and maximizing productivity because input and discharge of textile into a softening-drying process are consecutive. CONSTITUTION: The softening-drying method of the textile is as follows: transferring dewatered textile with feeding rollers(5) consecutively; staying in a softening-drying unit(2A,2B,2C,2D) for proper time respectively, and softening-drying with hot blast supplied from a heated-air drying device; transferring to the next softening-drying unit in order to soften and to dry; preventing twist and tangle of the textile because the softening-drying devices are connected with one driving device; and removing dust from waste hot blast with a dust collector, followed by discharging. The softening-drying device consists of: a heated-air generating device containing a burner; the softening-drying units(2A,2B,2C,2D) which are arranged in a line, softening-drying the textile(F) with hot blast and containing a drying frame(20); an elastic gates(29) closing both ends of a drying drum(24); the drying drum(24) pleated-installed in the drying frame(20); one motor reciprocal-driving the drying drums(24); the dust collector(4) comprised of a dust collecting box(41) collecting dust and a vacuum fan(42) discharging collected dust; and the feeding roller(5).
