The plate is provided with two drillings (21, 22) for the reception of a shaft or a dowel used in the joining of one plate to the other (2') for the formation of a chain link. The drillings are aligned on a longitudinal direction (X) of the plate and the plate is elastically deformed (25) according to the said longitudinal direction. Independent claims are also included for (a) the distribution system for car engine, and for (b) the internal combustion engine.
