A scent dispenser comprising a scent store, regulator and distributor for generating and discharging a cloud of scent from the store, is a miniaturized mobile unit for wearing on the body or placing near the user. The scent is discharged directly by the distributor, i.e. without carrier gas. An Independent claim is also included for a scent chip, especially for use as scent store in this dispenser.
