Thermal recording medium with fluorocarbon surfactant

A thermally imageable toner developable material (A) has a substrate carrying a layer contg.: (a) a solid binder which can be converted to a supercooled liq. on heating and subsequent cooling to room temp.; (b) a dye which absorbs IR radiation and converts it to thermal energy; and (c) a fluorinated surfactant. Also claimed is a thermally imageable toner develops the material (B) which is the same as (A) except that the dye (b) is omitted.
